My Story

Kellye Huff

Singer/Songwriter/Musician, Kellye Huff is no stranger to the music industry. She was born and raised in Laurel, Mississippi and was brought up in a musical home with her dad being David Huff of David and the Giants, and her mother "Beth" being an accomplished organist. Kellye started touring solo all over the United States at age 15 recording her first Gospel CD that charted in the top 10, to then record 5 more CD's with one becoming her hit single "Anything" shooting to #1. At the end of the year, her song "Anything" was #2 for the year end countdown on the Gospel music charts. Being apart of Huff Recording Studios in Mississippi, she spent countless years engineering, conducting and producing vocal artists.

Kellye learned to love and appreciate country music because of her grandparents "Mamaw and Papaw Huff" who listened to Patsy Cline, Buck Owens, Johnny Cash, just to name a few. "Papaw would always say, 'Hon, if you ever want to do anything in life, you should sing some good ole country music! That there is what the people want to hear'." And after many years of wanting to sing country, she finally made that dream a reality by forming her own band called The Kellye Huff Band.

Kellye has been featured in a movie with trumpet legend Phil Driscoll and leant her vocal skills in the studio with Elton John and the late Leon Russell's latest CD.

She has toured the world which include places like Paris and Marseille, France, London, England, Moscow, Russia, Central and South America, Canada, Mexico as well as Poland and Prague. She has also performed in every state of the United   States.
